Alternatively, fly into Kiel Airport (KLJ, ~45km) or take the direct train from Hamburg Hauptbahnhof to Neustadt an der Ostsee (1.5 hours). By car from Hamburg, take the A1 north toward Kiel, then exit toward Neustadt—approximately 1.5 hours of driving.
