Wilmington Boat Show

The Wilmington Boat Show, an in-water and indoor boating event that launched in 2016, has discontinued operations after nearly a decade. The show served local boating enthusiasts and dealers but faced insurmountable challenges including repeated hurricane disruptions, inadequate facility space (operators needed an additional 100,000 square feet), loss of its marina partnership, and escalating event costs. The event is no longer held. Organizers JBM & Associates, which successfully operates boat shows in Charleston, Columbia, and Savannah, expressed gratitude to the community but do not plan to return unless the convention center expands.
